Golden Hill Elementary School — 212.2 kW Solar Install
Golden Hill Elementary School is undergoing a powerful solar transformation! We’re not just adding to their existing system; we’re undertaking a complete re-roofing project, collaborating with Sylvester Roofing to ensure a robust foundation. Our innovative approach involves removing the old roof and installing steel plates with posts that emerge to form a fully flashed and secure frame. This structure will proudly support 366 high-performance 580-watt solar panels, contributing to a formidable 212.2 kW DC total system size. This advanced solar solution, integrated with the SDGE 277/480 volt switchgear, is expected to be completed by Fall 2025, providing Golden Hill Elementary with significant energy savings and environmental benefits.
