Optimized Inverter Selection
On some designs, the specified inverters would have necessitated additional transformers and switchgear. Through early intervention and expert suggestions, we identified alternative inverter models that could easily be swapped in, saving the school district significant time and money without compromising an ounce of quality or performance. These kinds of savings are often only achievable when the solar team is part of the initial planning.
Ensuring Module Availability
In other instances, solar modules (panels) that were part of the initial design simply weren't available for purchase by the time construction began. This forced a last-minute scramble, placing a heavy and unnecessary design burden on the architects to find suitable replacements and adjust plans. A simple conversation at the design phase, armed with real-time market knowledge, could have completely averted this hurdle.
